How we rank
We never accept payment for placement. Rankings reflect public pricing, user ratings, and editorial judgment using the same five-factor framework on every program: clinical model, pricing transparency, state availability, cancellation terms, customer experience. When we earn affiliate commission, it does not change a brand's position. Read our full disclosure.
All 3 programs compared
Sort by price, behavioral layer, or user rating.
Every program in this table is ranked on the same criteria. We earn a commission if you click through to some of them, but ranking and scoring are never sold. Programs that pay us nothing appear on equal footing.
Start from your priority
There's no single best program, only the best one for what you care about most. Pick your priority.
- If your priority is acne→ Topical tretinoin is first-line; spironolactone for hormonal acne in women
- If your priority is fine lines & aging→ Tretinoin is the most evidence-backed anti-aging prescription
- If your priority is hyperpigmentation→ Tretinoin plus targeted lightening agents; compare programs
- If your priority is lowest cost→ Generic tretinoin via telehealth beats most retail pricing
Hidden costs to watch for
The sticker price is rarely the whole bill. Before you enroll, check each of these.
- Dose-escalation price jumps
- Many programs price the starter dose low, then raise the monthly cost at higher titration steps. Confirm the price at the maintenance dose, not just week 1.
- Membership fee on top of medication
- Some platforms split the bill: a low medication price plus a separate monthly membership. Add both to get the true monthly cost.
- Required lab work
- A baseline A1C or metabolic panel may be required and billed separately if not bundled. Ask whether labs are included.
- Cancellation friction & lock-ins
- Watch for multi-month commitments, auto-renew after an intro month, and cancel-by-phone-only flows. The intro price is not the renewal price.
- Shipping & cold-chain fees
- Injectable GLP-1s ship cold. Some programs add a shipping or handling fee per order, especially for expedited or summer cold-pack shipping.

What this ranking measures. Ranked by typical end-to-end time. We weight time-to-first-shipment and async vs sync flow.
How we built the candidate list. We track every US-licensed telehealth program that prescribes in this category. We exclude programs that don't serve all 50 states transparently, charge undisclosed re-engagement fees, or require irrevocable contracts. None of these exclusions are subjective. They are documented rules in our full methodology.
What we did not do. We did not clinically evaluate any patient. We did not enroll undercover. Pricing on this page reflects each program's publicly listed rates as of the “last reviewed” date. Insurance acceptance and PA outcomes vary by plan; check with your insurer.
What we did do. Mystery-shopped sign-up flows, compared formularies on each provider's public site, recorded time-to-first-shipment where reported, and confirmed state availability against each program's self-reported coverage map.
