Daily health stacks: what telehealth bundles get right

Subscription daily-health stacks (vitamins, supplements, mood/sleep blends) have proliferated. Most don't outperform a $10/month grocery-store multivitamin plus targeted supplementation. The subscriptions that earn their price are the ones that actually individualize based on bloodwork.

What has evidence

Vitamin D supplementation in deficient individuals (~40% of US adults). Omega-3 in low-fish-eaters. Magnesium glycinate for muscle cramps, sleep, and constipation. B12 in vegans and adults over 50. Iron in menstruating women with documented low ferritin. Almost everything else has weak or absent evidence.

What's marketing

Generic 'daily wellness' multivitamin packs without bloodwork rarely outperform a $10 drugstore multi. 'Mood blends' with magnesium + L-theanine + 5-HTP have weak evidence individually and unstudied interactions. 'Energy stacks' with B-vitamins are useless if you're not B-deficient.

Bloodwork-driven programs

Programs that order at-home blood draws, identify deficiencies, and recommend targeted supplementation are worth the higher price ($80-150/month including labs) if you actually have deficiencies. Without bloodwork, you're paying for marketing.
