Avoid combining with other irritant topicals (benzoyl peroxide can inactivate tretinoin if applied at same time — separate by 8+ hours, or use BP morning and tretinoin night). Increases skin photosensitivity — always use SPF 30+ daily. Caution with topical exfoliants (AHA, BHA) and waxing/laser procedures.
