Yes. Wegovy pens have a printed expiration date on the box and individual pen — don't use after that date. Beyond the printed expiration, two practical limits apply: once a pen is in use (i.e., first injection used), you can keep it for 28 days at room temperature (up to 86°F / 30°C) or refrigerated. After 28 days from first use, discard even if drug remains in the pen. Pens stored in conditions outside the recommended range (frozen, heated above 86°F, exposed to direct sunlight) should be discarded even before the printed expiration. When in doubt, discard — using degraded Wegovy doesn't help and could increase side effects.
