Unused Wegovy pens: refrigerate at 36-46°F (2-8°C). Don't freeze — frozen pens must be discarded. Don't store in the freezer door (where it can freeze) or near a freezer wall. Once a pen is in use, you can keep it at room temperature (up to 86°F / 30°C) or refrigerated for up to 28 days. Discard after 28 days even if drug remains. For travel: keep in original packaging with the label. Carry-on only for flights (not checked baggage — cargo holds can freeze). Use a small insulated bag with ice pack for trips exceeding 4 hours from home refrigeration. Don't expose to direct sunlight or temperatures above 86°F. If a pen is exposed to extreme heat (e.g., car in summer), discard and use a new pen.
